I have been using Wordfence for the last 1 month and it protected my website from various situations. Here is some proof. This is the summary report from July 26, 2023, to August 2, 2023.

As you can see, my security plugin Wordfence had blocked more than 10 Ip addresses, some users tried to comment more than 5 times from the same Ip location. With Wordfence you can block any IP address you want. I blocked all the Ip addresses tried to spam my website as you can see in the above image.

I am currently using only Wordfence Free version. If you ask me if the free version enough for security, I would say “Yes”. In my case, It does all my Jobs. I never thought of buying Wordfence Premium. But I will buy in the future only if I have more money. To the people who plan to buy Wordfence premium, My answer is ” Don’t buy it”.
The only disadvantage of the free version is not providing real-time protection. But you can use most of the features in the free version.
How free Wordfence helped me to stop spam comments.
The only way to block spam comments is to enable the Anti Spam plugin but it is not free. But if you have a Wordfence you don’t need to worry, I will tell you how to block spam comments with Wordfence.
I used to get 100 to 200 spam comments every day from a single IP address and I really got frustrated and don’t know what to do. Also, I don’t have money to buy an anti-spam plugin. But Wordfence solved my problem with ease.
Just go to the comment section and take a look at the left-hand side, there you can find an IP address of the commentator. Just copy it,
Go To- Wordfence- Firewall -Block Section – Click IP Address – Enter your IP Address and mentioned the reason to block. Then click ok. Now that IP address blocked and you no more get spam comments from that IP Address.
But if you have Wordfence premium, you are really blessed to have. In this Wordfence premium, you don’t need to all the jobs manually. It does the automatically. It’s a time saver.
