The web stories same as the Instagram stories it will appear on your mobile discover page and under the browser search results. The good thing about web stories is they index faster and you get results shorter period of time. Maximum it takes 1 week that’s it.

Note – The website i am using is a small site and a web stories work for all the sites even if it is new. Also one more thing you can rank all the competitive keyword in my case I getting traffic for “IPhone 14” as we all know that that’s a highly competitive keyword and also cpc also very high a normal person can’t bit for bit. web stories is a big platform to target competitive topic.
